Private healthcare asks you to trust it with something personal. We would rather show you how we do this than ask for the benefit of the doubt. This page sets out what The Livewell Syndicate holds, what our partners hold, and what we are still working towards. Where we are not yet accredited, we say so.
01: The Livewell Syndicate
Care Quality Commission
We are not currently registered with the Care Quality Commission. We intend to apply, and we will publish our provider record on this page as soon as we are. In the meantime, workplace screening funded by an employer for its own staff falls within the exemption at Schedule 2 of the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014. We would rather tell you that plainly than display a badge that implies otherwise.
Clinician registration
Every clinician involved in your care is registered with the General Medical Council or the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
Information governance
We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office as a data controller, registration number ZB061995. Health data is handled under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Insurance
Medical malpractice and public liability cover details (insurer name and indemnity limit) will be published here once confirmed.
Safeguarding
We operate an integrated “Think Family” approach and work with Hull Local Authority Safeguarding Teams.

03: Our laboratory partner
Your sample is analysed by Inuvi, a UKAS accredited medical laboratory. The accreditations below are held by Inuvi in their own name, not by The Livewell Syndicate. We list them because the laboratory is the part of the process that determines whether your result is accurate.

Your results are processed and explained through BloodGPT. These certifications are held by BloodGPT, not by The Livewell Syndicate.

UK GDPR. Personal and health data handled in line with UK data protection law.
05: What this means for you
Your blood is analysed in a UKAS accredited UK laboratory, to the same standard the NHS relies on. Your data sits on an independently audited platform. Your results are reviewed by clinicians on a public register.
How we review our content
Every article we publish is written by a named author. Where an article makes health claims, it is checked by a clinician registered with the General Medical Council before it goes live.
Each article shows who wrote it, who reviewed it, their qualifications and GMC number, the date it was written and the date it was last reviewed. Sources are listed at the end of the article.
