How we got here, and where we’re going.
A teacher's health collapsed, nobody measured anything, and a cheap test explained it years later.

His body began failing within weeks, and nobody thought to ask why.
Before The Livewell Syndicate, Daniel was an educator. Qualifying moved doubled his work load, seeing him move from a busy support role to having double responsibilities. He started in September. By half term his beard was coming out in patches, then his scalp, then parts of his eyebrows and eyelashes, and he had gained a significant amount of weight. Something was visibly wrong every time he looked in the mirror, and nothing in the system he worked inside was set up to provide support. He resigned.

The answer came years later, from the cheapest test on the shelf.
The business began as something else entirely, and it was not until late 2022 that Daniel returned to what he had trained in and started working out whether private blood testing could sit inside it. To understand the process from the inside, he tested himself. The cheapest panel available was a testosterone test, so that is the one he bought. It came back at extremely low. His hormones had collapsed somewhere in those final months of teaching and had never recovered. He had been living like that for years without knowing, because nobody had ever had a reason to look.

So we built the company that would have caught it in time.
That result is why this is a blood testing company rather than anything else. Not because a number fixes anything by itself, but because you cannot act on something nobody has told you. Today we work with individuals who want to know what is happening inside their own bodies, and with employers who would rather find out early than read it in a resignation letter. Daniel was, at the time, somebody's employee. Nothing in that workplace was ever going to catch it.

Six principles we will never compromise on.
These aren’t aspirations. They are the standards every product, panel and member of clinical staff is held to — without exception.

Privacy by design
Health data is the most personal data there is. We collect only what is medically required, store it under UK GDPR, and never sell, share or train models on your samples or your results.
PRINCIPLE 02
Clinical precision
Every panel we sell is processed by UK laboratories accredited to ISO 15189, the same international standard NHS laboratories are held to. No consumer-grade shortcuts, no diluted methodologies.
PRINCIPLE 03
Plain language results
A number on a page is not a result. We translate every marker into a clear, contextual readout so you understand what is normal, what is optimal, and what — if anything — to act on next.
PRINCIPLE 04
Independent of the supplement industry
We don’t sell pills, powders or bundled “protocols.” The only thing we have to gain from your results is the trust to test you again next year.

Evidence over hype
We add a marker only when peer-reviewed evidence supports its inclusion, and we retire one the moment that evidence weakens. Our panels are reviewed by clinicians, not by marketing teams.
